A second and separate leak has been reported at 121 Hankins Street this morning after 10 AM. The Greeneville Fire Department is on the scene with HAZMAT response.
This leak is much more significant in size and about 20 people have been sent to the hospital, in addition to the six that were already transported this morning.
Bohannon Avenue is closed from Austin Street to the 11-E. Hankins Street is also closed. Everyone is urged to avoid the area. There is no danger to the public at this time. More details will be provided as they become available.
