Three were arrested this morning after midnight during a warrant check at an Erwin Highway residence.
Deputies spoke with the suspect Christa Shelton who advised she had friends over. A male who was at the residence, Khary O. Price of Antioch, TN, was known to have a warrant, so deputies made entry into the home and began clearing the residence. A pistol was allegedly seen in a bedroom, multiple pipes, and containers were also seen in plain view. The 9mm Taurus pistol had two of the serial numbers scratched off and was confirmed stolen out of Cherokee County.
According to the report, while searching the bedroom several bags of syringes were found, as well as pipes, containers with crystal like residue, a loaded syringe, and a container with pills inside. Suspect Christa Shelton reportedly had warrants through Washington County for violation of probation. Gerald Morrow was also inside the residence and showed to have a violation of probation warrant. Both were arrested and transported to the Greene County Detention Center for booking.
Price was reportedly located sitting on a toilet in a bathroom. A large baggy containing more baggies (146g) and a loaded pistol were found while searching Price’s immediate area. He was also taken into custody. Both Shelton and Price were given several charges.
