WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IS CANCELLED
Precipitation has ended, and the Winter Weather Advisory that was in effect has been cancelled. Roads may remain slick in some areas this morning, so use caution when driving.
December 11th, 2023 – 6 AM
A Winter Weather Advisory is in place for the east TN mountain zones through Noon today.
Total snow accumulations of one to three inches are possible above 3500 feet, with locally higher amounts across the highest mountain peaks. Today will be mostly cloudy with a high near 39 and lows around 20 tonight.
Temperatures in the day will remain in the low 50’s to mid 50’s throughout the week, with lows at night in the 20’s rising into the 30’s by Saturday night.

A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY GOES INTO EFFECT AT 4:00 PM THIS AFTERNOON UNTIL NOON ON MONDAY – FOR MOUNTAIN AREAS
* WHAT…Snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 1 to 3 inches mainly in the mountains. Winds gusting around 30 mph through tonight.
* WHERE…East Tennessee mountains mainly above 3500 Feet.
* WHEN…From 4 PM this afternoon to noon Monday.
* IMPACTS…Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous
conditions could impact the morning commute.
