A good deed reportedly turned into a vehicle getting stolen Tuesday on the 3600 block of Blue Springs Parkway.
The Greene County Sheriff’s Office responded to a motor vehicle theft Tuesday night and spoke with the victim who said he picked up the alleged suspect, who was named in the report, and drove her to a shop on Blue Springs Parkway. According to the report, he left the vehicle running for the suspect while he went inside the shop so she can stay warm.
After returning outside, the vehicle and the suspect were gone. The vehicle is a 2004 red Hyundai Santa Fe SUV with the TN tag being 597BKCC.
