A Bulls Gap man was arrested early this morning after he allegedly shot a gun several times at his residence while intoxicated.
The Greene County Sheriff’s Department responded to the scene shortly before 2:00 AM. A woman at the Spice Cove residence said Jeremy Sutton had been drinking, grabbed a gun, and fired it several times into a bed at close range. A shot was also fired into the arm of a couch. Sutton then reportedly went outside and fired several more shots into the ground before coming back into the house.
When deputies arrived, Sutton was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Greene County Detention Center. He was charged with possession of a handgun while intoxicated and reckless endangerment.
