Theft from a motor vehicle was reported Wednesday morning at the 1000 block of Sylvan Circle.
The victim, associated with the Boy Scout Troop, went to the Greeneville Police Department to report the theft and stated a bag containing $3,000-$4,000 in cash was stolen, a checkbook, and a debit card from the Boy Scout Troop. The victim believes the vehicle was broken into sometime overnight on Tuesday between 8 PM and 7:30 AM on Wednesday.
According to the report, the vehicle was left unlocked overnight. No suspects were known at the time of the report.
