A Greeneville woman was charged with Public Intoxication and Resisting Arrest after ignoring deputies’ commands and getting tased.
Deputies responded to the 500 block of Hartman Lane Saturday morning on the report of drunkenness. The complainant stated she had a work crew at her residence and the suspect Monica K. Fischl arrived and told the crew to leave while reportedly talking incoherently.
Once deputies arrived they found the suspect in a Bobcat Excavator, who appeared to be under the influence of narcotics. She was asked to step out the Bobcat but was non compliant. An attempt was made to physically remove the suspect but the deputy was unsuccessful.
The deputy then had to draw his Taser twice and with the assistance of other deputies Fischl was finally detained. According to the report, the suspect may have used Meth in the last couple days.
