A Limestone man was arrested for driving under the influence this morning after he was found passed out in a vehicle at a gas pump.
Officers were notified before 4 AM of the man, later identified as Cody Reed, who was parked at a pump at a Gas Station located on the 2000 block of East Andrew Johnson Highway. The Greeneville Police Department found the man asleep behind the wheel with the key still in the ignition.
After Reed woke up officers stated he was unsteady on his feet and had slurred speech, so sobriety tests were done, which Reed performed poorly on. According to the report, he was placed under arrest and taken to the Greeneville Community Hospital for a blood draw. He was then transported to the Greene County Detention Center.
