Fraudulent actions done by an employee at a Chuckey Dollar General resulted in almost $900 of unauthorized purchases.
Regional Loss Prevention Manager for the corporation, located at the 8000 block of East Andrew Johnson Highway, told deputies an employee has discounted over a hundred different items for customers over a period of several months. According to the Manager, the employee who is named in the report was discounting items due to being disgruntled at her immediate manager.
The store has reportedly found transactions totaling almost $900 worth of merchandise, where the price was changed on the register for an unauthorized discounted amount. The store is still investigating and there may be more fraudulent actions found, according to the report.
