A structure fire on Warrensburg Road Wednesday resulted in almost $200,000 worth of possessions burned, according to the victim.
Deputies responded to the 2000 block of Warrensburg Road at about 7:40 PM and found an entire building, a 2-car garage and shop fully engulfed. The victim states he was working in the shop earlier that day and went inside the residence around 6 PM. He later heard a loud bang and upon investigating discovered flames shooting out the garage door.
Several large machines, tools, and a Cadillac parked in the carport of the garage was destroyed. The victim says he believes the possessions burned could cost close to $200,000. According to the report, the building was not insured.
Several Fire Departments responded to the scene including Debusk, Orebank, and Caney Branch.
