A dog was stolen from a car parked in the Walgreens parking lot Wednesday afternoon at 104 Asheville Highway.
Officers spoke with a woman from Mosheim who stated she left her dog in the vehicle with the windows cracked while she went into Walgreens. After exiting the store she discovered her dog to be missing.
According to the report, an elderly couple said a female picked up the dog while the victim was in the store. The two year-old Boston Terrier is brindle and white in color. No suspects were known at the time of the report.
