Officers responded to a call on Scenic Drive Monday where a man said he was being held hostage but it turned out he was under the influence.
Officers arrived after 8 PM and made contact with suspects in a garage where there was a strong odor of Marijuana, according to the report. Officers met with the complainant and determined he was not being held hostage and was allegedly under the influence of drugs.
While speaking with another man in the garage officers spotted a jar of Marijuana and a Marijuana plant growing in the corner. The man stated it was CBD but according to officers there was no original packaging and the plant had a tag that read “non-CBD”
There was also miscellaneous drug paraphernalia in the room that was seized and placed into evidence. Both suspects were summoned to court.
