A male was arrested Tuesday afternoon for DUI after it was reported a man appeared to be passed out in a car at the Andrew Johnson Bank Drive-Thru.
Officers were in route to the bank on East Andrew Johnson Highway and were told the male drove to Walgreens. Officers found the driver, Cory Reed of Greeneville, at the Drive-Thru. After parking the vehicle Reed advised officers he accidentally went to the Andrew Johnson Bank Drive-Thru instead of Walgreens and was just trying to get his medication.
Reed allegedly had slurred speech, droopy bloodshot eyes, and had a slow reaction as he moved. He was asked to perform sobriety tests and reportedly performed poorly. He was placed under arrest and charged with Driving Under the Influence and Driving on a Suspended/Revoked License.
