A motor vehicle accident was reported Thursday afternoon near the Mount Bethel and Tusculum Boulevard intersection.
The Greeneville Police Department responded to the two-vehicle crash before 4 PM. According to the report, a vehicle driven by Brian Britt was at a green light on Mason Street making a left turn onto Tusculum Boulevard. While making the left turn another vehicle that was on Mount Bethel Road, driven by Tara McGonigal, was making a right turn on Tusculum Boulevard as well.
McGonigal’s front bumper made contact with the other vehicle’s passenger side rear tire and panel. McGonigal was reportedly issued a citation for failure to yield. No injuries or arrests were listed in the report.
