One person was taken to the hospital Monday night after a structure fire on 185 Brad Street.
The Greeneville Fire Department was dispatched to the fire about 10 PM where there was heavy fire showing upon arrival, according to Fire Chief Alan Shipley. The fire reportedly was going through the roof. An update was provided this morning by the Chief who states once firefighters arrived Monday night everyone reportedly made it out the home.
One person was transported by ambulance to the Johnson City Medical Center as a result of the fire. There is no update on their condition at this time. Chief Alan Shipley said the fire was brought under control by 11:15 PM. The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Greenville Fire Marshal’s Office.
Four engines and 12 personnel were dispatched to the scene. Greeneville Police, Greeneville Energy Authority, and Greeneville/Greene County EMS were also on scene.
