Two Afton residents reported not receiving money following an estate sale.
The victims reported to the Greene County Sheriff’s Department on Monday they had contracted with an out of town company to conduct a sale from September 15 through September 17. After the sale was complete, the victims were told the company’s checking account had been hacked and they were unable to receive their money from the sale at that time.
The victims agreed to wait two weeks. Since then, they have not been able to make contact with the company. The victims believe the two suspects live in Bristol. According to the report, the victims are owed $7,500 from the sale and have pictures of the items that were sold.
