A man was charged Wednesday morning after reportedly passing out behind the wheel of a box truck that held a stolen vehicle.
Deputies went to the 2300 block of the Blue Springs Parkway around 9:15 Wednesday morning and found 43-year-old Michael Lowe of Forest Street behind the wheel of a U-Haul truck with the engine running.
Lowe told deputies that he had nothing to drink and hadn’t taken any drugs or prescription medicine, but he was found in possession of suboxone and Xanax. A Yamaha side-by-side that had been reported stolen earlier in the day by a family member was also found in the back of the box truck.
Lowe was charged with DUI, violating implied consent, theft and possession of schedule 3 and 4 drugs and taken to the Greene County Detention Center.
