Greene Technology Center, proudly announces its 50th anniversary celebration and invites the community to an exciting Open House event to commemorate this milestone achievement.
On October 19, 2023, Greene Technology Center will open its doors to the public, offering a glimpse into the world of cutting-edge technology and innovation that has defined its legacy over the past five decades. This event will celebrate the center’s journey from inception to becoming a leader in work-ready trades showcasing its contributions to advancements in technology and its commitment to the community.
The Open House will feature:
1. Historical Exhibit: A curated display highlighting Greene Technology Center’s evolution and impactful milestones throughout its 50-year history including highlighting former employees.
2. Technology Showcase: Interactive demonstrations and displays showcasing the latest innovations and breakthroughs in advanced manufacturing (electrical, machining, and welding), automotive, aviation flight, computer information systems, cosmetology, criminal justice/corrections, culinary, and health science.
3. Guided Tours: Visitors will have the opportunity to take guided tours of the facility, providing insights into the state-of-the-art technology and industry certifications at Greene Technology Center.
4. Networking Opportunities: An excellent opportunity for business partners to network with industry professionals, learn about career opportunities, and interact with the Greene Technology Center team.

The Open House event is scheduled for October 19, 2023 from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm at Greene Technology Center at 1121 Hal Henard Road, Greeneville, TN 37743. Admission is free, and all members of the community including former employers, alumni, and business industry partners are invited.
