The new Southern Craft BBQ restaurant set to open this week in Greeneville will have a soft opening this weekend.
The Manager Hallie Broadstone spoke with Radio Greeneville News on when they would be opening. There is no set time for the open as of today, according to Managers. The restaurant is hoping to finish the last set of details and will be opening their doors this evening. They will officially be open Saturday afternoon.
Southern Craft was approved for on-premise consumption last week during the Greeneville Beer Board meeting. The application for a beer permit was approved after the owner passed a background check.
Manager Broadstone stated during an interview that some staff and servers from the Fatz Cafe, which closed permanently in August 2023, were picked up and will be working at the restaurant. If you are thinking of stopping by this weekend be patient and considerate of the staff, as they will probably receive a large crowd.
