A woman was arrested for a warrant and for concealing Methamphetamine in a body part Tuesday.
Officers initially conducted a traffic stop on Tusculum Boulevard for the driver, who didn’t have on a seat belt. The passenger, Heather Bowman of Greeneville, reportedly had an active warrant for Violation of Probation and was taken into custody. A K9 on the scene gave a positive alert on the vehicle for an odor of narcotics but nothing was found.
While speaking with officers Bowman admitted to having Meth concealed within her body. Once at the jail the Meth was allegedly recovered by a Corrections Officer and it was placed into evidence.
