A storage unit on 35 East Allens Bridge Road was reportedly ransacked with several items stolen.
The victim spoke with the Greene County Sheriff’s Department and said she went to her storage unit last Friday and noticed her lock was cut off and replaced with a different lock. The Storage Facility Manager told the victim they were not involved with what happened to her lock, when asked about the situation.
After cutting off the new lock the victim saw someone ransacked her unit and stole numerous items including camping, hunting, and fishing equipment, chairs, clothing, and building materials. The items stolen totaled about $5,000 and were just what the victim could remember at the time. There are possibly more items that were stolen. No suspects were known at the time of the report.
