A man wanted on a violation of probation warrant is facing additional charges after he was found in possession of drugs.
Officers with the Greeneville Police Department responded to a property on East Andrew Johnson Highway due to indviduals who had been living there without the landowner’s permission. Christoper Thacker, who had a violation of probation warrant, was found on the in a tent on the property.
A baggie containing a substance identified as methamphetmaine was found in his pants pocket. In addition to his warrant, Thacker was transported to the Greene County Detention Center for possession of meth.
