A man was arrested for Public Intoxication and Possession of Meth Thursday afternoon after it was reported someone was passed out on West Summer Street.
Officers responded about 2 PM and found Donald Edward Hill sleeping on the sidewalk with a liquor bottle next to him. He was woken up by officers and asked if he needed medical attention. Hill stated he drank some alcohol and did not medical attention. According to the report, due to showing signs of intoxication officers believed it was a danger for him to be in public and he was arrested.
During a search, a syringe and a baggie containing a crystal like substance consistent with Methamphetamine was found. He was transported to the Greene County Detention Center without incident.
