A man residing in Chuckey and wanted in Florida was taken into custody after wrecking his vehicle Wednesday evening.
The Greene County Sheriff’s Department responded to the 1100 block of Doughty’s Chapel Road around 6:30 PM after Edward Dejesus of Pandora Loop reportedly ran through a fence. Dejesus was discovered to be wanted in Florida.
He was transported to the Greene County Detention Center for being a fugitive from justice. According to the report, Dejesus will be extradited to Florida on the warrant.
