The project could be completed by March of next year for about $47,000 and will be done by a local company, FOC Landscapes.
Also approved was furniture for the Greeneville Middle School for their Career Exploration Class and a Career Lab Class. Funds for the purchase are through the Innovative Schools Grant for $31,525.32. Furniture includes optimal desks, chairs, cabinets, and more, according to the quote provided.
Permission was also granted to participate in the PEP Property Conservation Grant Program. With this grant, funds will be applied toward the purchase of property fencing at the High School. As Greeneville City Schools continues to consider safety, the fencing and gates will make a difference for the school.
