Greeneville Police noticed a black Ford F-S drifting multiple times from the fast to slow lane while on West Andrew Johnson Highway, around 2:30 this morning. Officers stopped the vehicle in a parking lot and spoke with the driver, Luis Camacho of Bradley Avenue.
Officers reported two open and empty beer bottles on the floorboard, and that Camacho smelled of alcohol. Camacho showed several signs of impairment during standardized field sobriety tests.
During the search of the vehicle, a small piece of plastic was found containing a white crystal-like substance believed to be meth.
Camacho was charged with DUI First Offense, Violation of the Open Container Law, Driving with a Suspended License, and Possession of Methamphetamine.
