Three females were caught shoplifting from Walmart and one fled the scene Wednesday on the East Andrew Johnson Highway.
According to the report, an Asset Protection employee at Walmart had two of the females, Linda Hollenbeck and Sarah Vanhoose, in custody until officers arrived. The third female, identified as Jessica Sills, fled the scene before officers arrived and allegedly has an unconfirmed warrant for shoplifting out of Knoxville.
Various items were stolen from the shelf totaling about $100. The females reportedly passed all points of sale with the items, which were later recovered. Walmart will be seeking private prosecution.
