Theft from a motor vehicle was reported Monday evening on the 1500 block of Reed Road in Greeneville.
The victim spoke with the Greene County Sheriff’s Department and said the vehicle’s passenger side window was damaged. The suspect stole a purse that included a driver’s license, keys, cash, debit and credit cards, and more including checkbooks.
Damage is estimated at about $5,000. The theft was reportedly between 3 PM on Monday and 6:30 PM that evening. No suspects were known at the time of the report.
