A structure fire was reported on Cedar Avenue in Greeneville Monday night.
According to the report, the property has been vacant for over 5 years but recently there has been vandalism and people wondering around. A neighbor spoke with deputies and said there was suspicious activity over the last few weeks. A red Nissan was also seen recently in the driveway for about an hour before leaving.
No suspects were known at the time and no injuries were reported. The home was deemed a total loss and was valued at $50,000. The Mosheim Volunteer Fire Department, Debusk Fire and Rescue, and various volunteers responded to the scene.
