The Greene county Sheriff’s Department responded to a Doc Hawkins Road home Sunday as the owner reported someone was in her house.
According to the report, she was away for the weekend and after returning home she discovered someone took food from the freezer and cooked it, several household items were moved, including pillows and magazines, and the trash was thrown away. She also found a pair of men’s shorts in the bathroom/laundry room and believes the suspect showered in her home.
The complainant noticed the suspect had closed her blinds, which were left open, and there was also clothing stolen. Video evidence was provided to the Sheriff’s Department.
