The Greeneville Municipal Planning Commission will meet this morning and elect new officers for the upcoming year as well as introduce a new staff member.
The commission will also consider a site plan showing the construction of a Dollar General retail store located at the intersection of U.S. 11 E and Hal Henard Road. The building would be 12,480 sq. ft., and has associated parking. It’s a total of 2.11 acres and will have direct access to U.S. 11 E, storm water detention facilities are provided. The approval is subject to receiving the NOC permit from TDEC as well as the approved entrance permit from TDOT.
Other items on the agenda include combining parcels of land to make 1 new parcel and discussions on reports and current/pending projects for the town. The Municipal Planning Commission will meet at 9:30 AM this morning in the G. Thomas Love Boardroom, at the Greeneville Energy Authority Building on 110 North College Street.
