The Greene County Regional Planning Commission will meet this afternoon and welcome new board member Becky Rideout to her first official meeting.
The planning commission will review and consider granting approval to several subdivisions like the Holston Home for Children property, adjacent to Lick Hollow Road. A portion of the property if approved, would be divided into nine lots totaling 8.25 acres.
Members will also consider granting approval to the Greeneville Federal Bank Property Partition Subdivision for three lots totaling 2.84 acres, on Poplar Springs Road.
Several other subdivisions and minor subdivisions will be considered for approval. Additionally, members will discuss monthly reports and other business. The Greene County Regional Planning Commission will meet at 1 PM this afternoon in the Greene County Courthouse Annex, Conference Room, located on 204 North Cutler Street.
