A stolen vehicle was found during a traffic stop near West Summer Street on Sunday.
The Greeneville Police Department stopped a vehicle for having a headlight out before midnight . Officers made contact with the driver, Wesley Dewit of Spring City, TN. He advised the vehicle was stolen and was immediately arrested. A baggie was later found that contained a white crystal substance, believed to be Meth, along with pipes, and various pills, according to the report.
He was given multiple charges including Theft, Unlawful Drug Paraphernalia, Driving While License Is Suspended or Revoked, Delivery of Meth, and Lights Required On Motor Vehicles. The owner of the vehicle was contacted.
