An Afton man reported he received stolen property after trading his motorcycle.
The Bill Jones Road man reported Sunday to the Greene County Sheriff’s Department he traded his 2008 Harley Davidson motorcycle on Saturday to the suspect for a 2023 dump trailer. The trailer then came back as stolen out of Sullivan County.
The Sullivan County Sheriff’s Department was contacted and picked up the stolen trailer. Upon investigation, the suspect was reportedly caught on video surveillance stealing the trailer. The suspect is facing charges in connection with the incident.
The victim’s motorcycle is valued at $4,200.
