A skid steer was destroyed in a fire in the 1900 block of Pigeon Creek Road around noon on Thursday.
The owner said he had been clearing brush with the equipment and stopped to go to the store. When he came back, the man saw black smoke coming from the top of his property and the skid steer was on fire.
The Kubota skid steer was valued at $45,000, according to the Greene County Sheriff’s Department report.
