A Greeneville man was arrested yesterday for public intoxication on Old Tusculum Road.
Officers responded to drunkenness before 5 PM on the report of a man staggering in and out of traffic. According to the report, the suspect Tyler Collins was reportedly blocking traffic in the road. After making contact you could smell alcohol coming from Collins and he also admitted to drinking.
Due to possibly being a danger to himself and the public, Collins was arrested and transported to the Greene County detention center without incident.
