A Greeneville man was arrested following a traffic stop Tuesday night.
An officer with the Greeneville Police Department saw a vehicle around 10:00 PM driving in the area of North Irish and West Church Streets that was registered to Jerry Hawk of Elk Street, who has a revoked driver’s license.
A traffic stop was initiated. A K9 officer gave a positive alert on the vehicle and a baggie containing methamphetamine was found under the driver’s seat.
Hawk was transported to the Greene County Detention Center for simple possession of meth, driving on a revoked license, and violation of financial responsibility.
