A Greeneville man was arrested Monday after violating a court order, which led to the discovery of drugs and other illicit items in his car.
Officers spotted a car matching that of a suspect who reportedly violated a court order earlier in the day. Officers stopped the man at the Food City on the Asheville Highway. Upon searching his car, officers found what appeared to be Methamphetamine, a hollow pen used to ingest Meth, liquor bottles, some ammunition, and a what appeared to be a container of urine with a thermometer, and hand warmers attached.
The man was charged with possession of Meth, possession of drug paraphernalia, and falsification of a drug test. Due to the proximity of the arrest to a school, Greeneville Middle, and Eastview and Highland Elementary Schools were briefly placed on a precautionary external lockdown.
