Update: The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, has been called to look into a suspicious house fire on Moore Avenue.
Around 10:00 AM Friday, emergency vehicles responded to a house fire in the 1800 block of Moore Avenue. The house was partially engulfed in flames, but the fire department was able to put out the fire. No one was inside the house at the time. There was apparently evidence to suggest the fire was suspicious in nature, and the TBI was called to investigate.
Damage to the house was estimated at over $90,000.
10 AM : The Greeneville Fire Department is responding to a report of a structure fire on Moore Avenue, off the 11-E across from Lowes.
Be cautious in that area and watch for emergency responders. More details will be provided as they are released.
