A Limestone man evaded deputies this morning after an attempted traffic stop for reckless driving and was arrested.
The suspect Brandon Campbell, was seen on a motorcycle driving recklessly at the Seaton Road and Middle Creek intersection. Deputies attempted a traffic stop but Campbell took off. The pursuit continued on back roads before making it to the Erwin Highway, reaching speeds of 100 mph.
He continued fleeing into Washington County and ended up turning onto Dunbar Road, where he then reportedly threw his hands up in the air as if he was giving up. Campbell then accelerated and took off multiple times, according to the report.
He finally turned onto West Broyles Road and came to a stop. He was then handcuffed and transported to the Greene County Detention Center with charges including Evading Arrest, Reckless Endangerment, and Use of a Deadly Weapon.
