A woman was assaulted while asleep at the Greeneville Inn and Suites Motel Tuesday.
The victim said she and another person were staying at the hotel Monday night. The next morning around 8 AM she was woken up by the suspect assaulting her. The suspect was let into the room due to her relationship with the other person who stayed the night.
According to the report, the suspect continued to assault the victim, leaving minor bruises on the victim’s arms. Multiple items were broken in the hotel room in the process. The suspect left a short time later and allegedly took a purse, jeans, $100 cash, and a driver’s license belonging to the victim. Warrant procedures were advised.
