Several were arrested this weekend for Public Intoxication.
Sheriff’s responded Saturday around 3 AM to the intersection of Weems Chapel Road and Gilbreath Loop. They found Jessica Fair of Mosheim sitting in the middle of the road wearing only a t-shirt and underwear. She was reportedly talking out her head, could not confirm her identity, and when asked if she took any drugs or alcohol, she stated she took all of them. She was arrested due to potentially being a hazard to herself and the public.
Michael Sparks of Greeneville was arrested Sunday morning on Old Kentucky Road for Public Intoxication after he was found in a cattle field with just a shirt and underwear on. He was allegedly unsteady on his feet and had slurred speech. He was transported to the Greene County Detention Center.
Another man, Kevin Norton of Greeneville, was arrested Sunday evening after officers received a call of a suspicious man near the Boys and Girl Club on West Church Street. He was located in the parking lot of Max Mart and admitted to drinking. He reportedly was sweating profusely and also had slurred speech. Due to his intoxication level he was arrested.
