A Mosheim woman was charged with disorderly conduct on Sunday afternoon following an incident on Gilbreath Road.
The Greene County Sheriff’s Department responded after receiving a report of a woman throwing rocks at a vehicle. The victim said a woman, later identified as Jessica Fair of Weems Chapel Road, started throwing trash and rocks at her vehicle for no reason. The victim said when she stopped to confront Fair, she became belligerent and was lifting her shirt up to show her undergarments.
Deputies spoke to Fair, who first said the victim tried to sell a child to her and then changed her story to say the victim was trying to kick her out of somewhere. Fair continued to talk incoherently, reportedly saying she did not have a name because of Judge Bailey.
Fair was taken into custody for disorderly conduct. The nurse on duty at the Greene County Detention Center looked at a cut Fair had on her hand and requested the deputy take her to the hospital to get stitches. Due to the ER at Greeneville Community Hospital being busy, Fair was issued a criminal summons to appear in court and was released from custody to get treatment for her hand.
