The Severe Thunderstorm Watch has Escalated to a Warning in Greene County.
The impacted locations include Caney Branch, Greeneville, Mosheim, Baileyton, Romeo, and Jearoldstown.
The Storm is currently moving east at 20 miles per hour, according to the national weather service in Morristown.
The main threats for Greene County are isolated damaging wind gusts at 60 miler per hour and localized flooding due to heavy rainfall as well as hail the size of a quarter.
The National Weather Service advises that residents in the impacted locations move to the lowest floor of a building in an interior room, if possible.
The Severe Weather Warning will continue until about 6 pm tonight, with the Weather Watch still in effect until 10 pm.
