Two Greeneville men reportedly assaulted each other after a noise complaint.
At around 8:30 last night, Greeneville police responded to a report of a simple assault on Cottonwood Drive. Once on the scene, officers discovered Kevin Broyles and John Olaughlin on the scene.
Broyles said that he was standing outside when Olaughlin walked up and struck him over a previous feud.
Olaughlin told police that Broyles had the police called on him earlier in the day due to playing loud music.
Broyles reportedly began shouting at all of his neighbors after the noise complaint, then shouted profanity and shoved Olaughlin, which started the assault.
Neither parties required medical treatment at the time, according to the report.
