Scattered thunderstorms are expected in northeast Tennessee this afternoon and tonight, but the probability of severe weather is low, according the National Weather Service.
There could also be some widespread haze today. Multiple rounds of showers and thunderstorms are expected from Tuesday night through Friday. The storms will be capable of producing heavy rainfall and repeated rounds of storms over the same areas, which may lead to localized flooding.
Temperatures continue to remain in the 80’s this week with lows in the mid to high 60’s. Temperatures at night will drop to about 60 degrees by this weekend. Stay tuned to Radio Greeneville for weather updates.
