An abandoned pickup truck was found on fire Saturday on Greystone Road near Bill Martin Road.
Deputies responded to the scene around 11:00 PM and found a blue 1998 Ford Ranger fully engulfed in flames. The Tusculum Fire Department arrived and extinguished the fire. A PayPal card with the name of a man was found inside the truck. Numerous tools were seen throughout the truck and in the bed.
A North Carolina man was shown to be the registered owner of the vehicle. Deputies contacted him, but the man said he had a red 1998 Ford Ranger he previously sold to someone in South Carolina. He did not know how the tag on the blue Ford Ranger was registered to him.
At the time of the police report, no other information had been obtained about the man who had the PayPal card inside the truck.
