A woman was apparently captured on a store surveillance video stealing a wallet on Sunday.
The victim reported to the Greeneville Police Department he was in the parking lot of the Marathon Market in the 600 block of Asheville Highway Sunday evening. He later realized he had dropped his wallet on the ground.
A store employee reviewed surveillance video and a woman with blonde hair was seen picking up the wallet. She then walked inside the store and went into the restroom. The suspect then reportedly purchased some items before leaving the store.
According to the report, she possibly left the scene in a gray Chevrolet Impala.
