A woman with a juvenile in her vehicle was arrested following a traffic stop on Monday night.
An officer with the Greeneville Police Department stopped a vehicle for speeding on Tusculum Boulevard around 10:45 PM. The driver, later identified as Krystle Renner of Leonard Street, said she did not have her license and gave the officer a false social security number and name.
When Renner was correctly identified, she was discovered to have a violation of probation warrant. A straw with drug residue and two baggies with residue were found in her purse.
In addition to the outstanding warrant, Renner was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, criminal impersonation and speeding.
DCS responded to the scene due to a 12-year-old being in the vehicle during the stop. The juvenile was turned over to a family member.
