If traveling early this morning be prepared for a sudden drop in visibility due to fog in areas. Give yourself extra time to reach your destination and slow down.
Also, give extra room between you and the vehicle ahead of you. According to the National Weather Service, the fog will dissipate soon after sunrise giving way to partly cloudy skies, a warm and muggy afternoon, with mostly dry conditions. A few storms may be strong this afternoon, producing strong gusty winds and torrential downpours.
Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected most of the remaining days. A few isolated stronger storms are possible, in addition to localized flooding due to repeated rainfall from slow-moving or training storms.
